An asset is a video or image file that you upload to the platform. Each asset has a unique identifier that you can reference across multiple knowledge stores.

Lifecycle

After upload, the platform processes the asset before it can be used:

An asset must reach the ready status before you can add it to a knowledge store.

Reusability

Assets exist independently of knowledge stores. Once uploaded, you can add the same asset to multiple knowledge stores, for example, to analyze the same content with different ingestion configurations.
